The project addresses manual material searches, transport and line feeding between the warehouse and injection molding production.

The solution

Automated tote handling and machine feeding

Tote stacker cranes, roller conveyor AGVs and the hopper system work together to supply injection molding production. ERP integration links warehouse operations with production requirements.

Automated storage: 2 double-deep tote stacker cranes and 2 workstations
Transport and feeding: 9 roller conveyor AGVs and 1 injection molding machine hopper system
Storage capacity: 4,200 storage positions within a 40 × 7.5 × 3.2 m space
